Organize My House - Keeping Your Sports Gear Organized
Different clothing for cycling, swimming, running and gym has to be stored somehow and by these tips I have been able to organize my sports florida state seminoles gear.
Choose how to store the gear
I have a very simple drying rack in my bathroom where I store my clothing. This is just enough to store the clothing I'm using in my sports activities.
Also, I keep my running and cycling shoes in the bathroom for the most of the year. During the summertime I keep my shoes in my balcony.
Get rid of extra gear
In order to fit all the different gear to my drying rack, I need to get rid of all the ones that hang there and that I don't need.
The whole rack is utilized 100%, so there is no extra space for anything additional. So, I just get rid of the stuff I don't need. If the gear is in such a bad shape, I throw it away. Otherwise I recycle the gear by donating it.
Store the seasonal gear someplace else
I'm training through the year, whether it's winter or summer. Because of this I need to have different types of gear depending of the season. Also, moving from winter to spring or from summer to autumn sets some extra requirements for the available space based on the clothing I use.
I keep the off-season clothing in my master closet. By this way I can have the drying rack just for the clothes I need for the particular season.
Organize by colors
To be able to see and reach the different types of clothes easier, I have organized my drying rack by plastic clips of different color.
Originally they were designed to keep the socks together in the washing machine, but since I didn't find them very practical, I have now marked florida state seminoles gear each rod of my rack with a certain color. By that way I have organized my rack to different sections based on the type of the gear I'm using.
